BIOFACH NUREMBERG (Germany) 2011 16-19 FEBRUARY - Baby Organics on display
ACF took on the planning, organization and implementation to represent a group of Australian certified organic companies, under the “Australian Certified Organic/Australian Culinary Foods” banner at the BioFach show in Nuremberg.
This was a challenge, as no other Australian Companies were going to participate at this show. BFA kindly supported the concept by allocating funds and sending out an email to all of their clients and members. Our team contacted a large number of companies directly and got a group of companies to participate. Our thanks go out to all of the companies who participated as without their monetary support this show would not have happened.
The participating companies were a very good cross section of Organic products available in Australia and emphasized the great diversity of products we have in our country.
As part of this project ACF also organized pre and post show meetings with Distributors and retailers.
Our stand was located in Hall 4 Stand 139.
We had a corner stand of 30 square metres. Our stand was located opposite India, which had a very large contingent and a 600 square meter stand.
Many visitors to Biofach visited our stand and were all happy to see Australian representation.

We have some very strong leads to follow up.
BioFach reinforces the competition we are up against. We face many challenges and we need to have a clear understanding of how to approach this market. We believe we cannot do this as individuals. We need to work collectively to reduce costs in promoting ourselves.
One thing that we have is that we are Australian: Clean and Green! This in itself is a strong marketing message.
Australia has an internationally recognized platform but we need to produce products that are also competitive on a world stage through uniqueness (USP), price, and ease of logistic availability.
