What Skin Type Are You?
Dry Skin

Feels tight and dehydrated over the entire face, with no oily sheen, a lacklustre appearance and a tendency towards flaking and fine lines. Mature skin or skin that shows signs of premature aging may fall into this category.

Combination Dry Skin

Feels normal in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin), but tight and dry in patches, generally in the cheek and eye areas. Dehydration and signs of premature aging are of concern, particularly around the eyes.

Normal Skin

Seems balanced throughout most of the face - not too oily or too dry. May feel a little oily in the nose area by the end of the day. Breakouts are rare. Dehydration and a lacklustre appearance are primary concerns.

Combination Oily Skin

Is oily through the T-zone and normal throughout the cheeks and around eyes. Avoiding blemishes and clogged pores and controlling excess oil in key areas are the main focus

Oily Skin

Oily skin produces excess sebum throughout the entire face, particularly through the T-zone, which can look shiny after cleansing. Blemishes and clogged pores are common problems. Balancing the skin without stripping its natural moisture is very important.

Sensitive Skin

Is prone to reactions and often looks red and blotchy, with a tendency to flake. Because this is more a condition that a skin type, a person can have dry, combination/dry, normal, combination/oily or oily skin in addition to having sensitive skin. People with this skin type benefit most from simple formulas which contain calming agents and little or no fragrance.

There is plenty you can do...

Avoid direct sun & wind.
Keep showers short and tepid as hot water is dehydrating.
Use soap free cleansers and liquid soaps.
After swimming rinse off salt or chlorine as they can be very drying.
Drink watermelon juice to help relieve tight skin.
Eat foods high in vitamin A ( eg: carrots, & sweet potatoes)
Use moisturiser after bathing while skin is still a little damp.
